I am Counselling Psychologist offering psychological therapy to both individuals and couples for a range of difficulties in Hove and Portslade, East Sussex.

My experience

I have worked as a Counselling Psychologist for 10 yrs and as a therapist for 20yrs. My specialist area is trauma. I have extensive experience of working with Complex post traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) and I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). I also specialise in Gender. I work for the Sussex Gender Service consulting with trans and non binary people to access gender affirming treatment and psychological support. I offer face to face sessions in Hove , East Sussex on Fridays and online sessions on Thursday/ Fridays. I have many years experience in working in Adult mental health supporting people with emotional regulation issues , anxiety , depression , bi polar and psychosis . I also support people experiencing life stressors and relational issues. My approach is integrative. I use mainly EMDR and CBT and draw on other modalities such as Cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) , Mindfulness, compassion focused therapy and Internal Family systems (IFS) and Emotion focused therapy (EFT). I take a feminist , trans and queer affirmative approach in my practice. My fees are £90 per 50 min session for online and £100 for face to face sessions.
